Alerts and notifications
What Patrima watches, when it looks, where alerts land, and how you tune or silence them.
On this page
Patrima raises alerts on what matters: lending health factors, allocation drift, portfolio drawdown, yield drops, trading signals, finished reports and news on your holdings. They land in the notification center behind the bell, as on-screen notifications while you are in the app and, on the Pro plan, by email for critical alerts and the summary of a scheduled report. You control the noise: thresholds are yours, an alert can be snoozed, and health factor alerts can be muted per position.
Three channels
The bell and its history, on-screen notifications during a session, and email for critical alerts and the summary of a scheduled report, on the Pro plan, to a verified address.
Once a day
Portfolio alerts are evaluated at the daily snapshot, not continuously. Signals and news follow their own 15-minute rhythm.
Your thresholds
Health factor, drawdown, drift, yield drop and yield target levels are set in Settings, with validated bounds.
Snooze or mute
Remind me later pauses a health factor alert until the next snapshot, for 3 days, or until the position recovers. Mute silences one position's alerts until you turn them back on.
Health factor
- What triggers it
- A lending position below your warning threshold (warning) or your critical threshold (critical), evaluated at the daily snapshot. When the account's last sync is not recent, the health factor is computed on the last known positions at today's prices, and the alert says how many hours ago they were synced. A debt under 10 dollars, such as what remains after a liquidation, raises none.
Monitoring unavailable
- What triggers it
- A lending position whose health factor cannot be computed: missing liquidation threshold, missing price, a debt that values at zero, a loan frozen because its wallet now holds a structure Patrima cannot follow, or an account whose positions were never synced. One notice per episode, not an alert.
Allocation drift
- What triggers it
- A domain or a sub-pocket outside its plan band, further from its target than your drift threshold, in percent and in dollars. Not raised when a price is missing, since the percentages would be partial. An alert comes back only when the drift changes: a pocket enters or leaves the list, changes side, or moves by a point or more; otherwise once a week while it lasts.
Yield drop
- What triggers it
- A yield position whose rate fell by more than your absolute or relative threshold, above a minimum capital.
Drawdown
- What triggers it
- Your net worth below its peak by your warning or critical percentage or more, deposits and withdrawals taken out: the measure of the dashboard's Performance line. One alert per threshold and per fall: it goes out at the first daily snapshot where the drop reaches the threshold, even after a gap between snapshots or when the drop was already there, and again only once the drop has come back above that threshold. When a connected account's history cannot trace every flow, the drop is measured on the snapshot totals themselves: the alert still goes out, and says it may include deposits or withdrawals. Always on.
Trading signals
- What triggers it
- An entry signal, an exit signal or a sell target reached on one of your plans. Trading plans are part of the Pro plan: the switch says so otherwise.
Reports
- What triggers it
- A scheduled report ready, or a scheduled generation that failed twice in a row (once, when the monthly allowance is reached or the copilot is turned off). Scheduled reports are part of the Premium plan: the switch says so otherwise.
News on my portfolio
- What triggers it
- A story rated at high importance (or high and medium, per your setting) on an asset you hold, or on a protocol your positions go through. The alert gives the share of the portfolio you hold; without a snapshot yet, it says that share is not known.
Yield target
- What triggers it
- The weighted rate of your open yield positions whose rate is known below the target you set, above a minimum of capital covered by that rate.
AI quota
- What triggers it
- Once a month at most for each: when the copilot's usage passes about 80% of your monthly AI quota, and when the quota refuses a request, a scheduled report or the daily briefing included. The quota is the lower of your plan's and your personal limit. Always on, in the app only, never by email.
Account
- What triggers it
- Welcome on sign-up, a notice whenever your password changes, and a notice when a connected exchange key allows more than reading. Always on.
Notifications appear in the centre opened from the bell, and in full on the Notifications page: Active lists what you have not archived, All adds the archived ones, and severity and type narrow the list; the type filter offers every kind of notification. Each notification can be marked as read, archived, or explained by the copilot, except the welcome, the test, the password notice and the AI quota notices. Mark all as read marks what the filters show, nothing else. Its text follows the language of the app. Critical alerts, and the summary of a scheduled report, can also be emailed on Pro or above, if your address is verified and you have enabled email in Settings. When an email did not go out because your address is not verified, or because your plan no longer includes email, the notification says so; Settings says it too, even with the switch on.
Not a real-time monitor
Health factors, drift, drawdown and yield alerts are evaluated once a day, at the scheduled snapshot; a manual resync refreshes what the page shows but does not evaluate alerts. If the day's snapshot fails, every alert is still evaluated on your current positions, except the drawdown, which is measured on the snapshots. When an account's last sync is not recent, the health factor, drift, yield drop and yield target alerts are evaluated on its last known positions and say how many hours ago they were synced; only an account never synced suspends them. Trading signals and news follow their own 15-minute rhythm. For a lending position close to liquidation, the protocol's own interface remains the reference.

Enable the alert types you want in Notification settings. Drawdown and account notices remain active. Send a test checks the bell display; it does not send an email. Trading signals and Scheduled reports carry the badge of their plan when yours does not include them: their switch then has no effect.
Remind me later pauses a health factor alert. Its choices follow the daily snapshot, the only time a health factor is evaluated: until the next snapshot, 3 days, or until the position recovers; a pause ends just before a snapshot, so the alert comes back at that snapshot if the position is still below your threshold; a click in the ten minutes before the daily snapshot, or while it runs, pauses until the one after. One click on the clock applies the default duration set in Settings, Notifications; the arrow next to it offers the three choices. A paused alert leaves Active and stays under All. Mute alerts for this position disables its health factor alerts until you enable them again in Settings, and archives its current ones (they stay under All on the Notifications page). A critical alert can still return during a pause if the health factor drops by at least another 0.1.
Read notifications that are not critical are archived after 30 days; unread and critical ones stay until you archive them. A health factor alert is archived on its own once it no longer describes its position: the health factor is back above your warning threshold, the position is closed or ignored, or, for a critical alert, the position is back between your two thresholds. Archived notifications are deleted 180 days after archiving, critical ones a year after; one whose pause still runs (until the position recovers, or a yield target alert sent once until recovery) is kept until the pause ends, a year past its retention at most. Closing or removing the position, removing the target, or turning its alert off or to another frequency ends that pause.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Remind me later and Mute?
Remind me later pauses a health factor alert until the next snapshot, for 3 days, or until the position recovers. Mute disables health factor alerts for a position until you enable them again in Settings. A pause can be interrupted if a critical situation worsens.
Why did I get an alert during a snooze?
A critical alert returns if the health factor drops by at least another 0.1 from its level at the start of the pause. Pausing does not guarantee that no further alerts will appear.
How does "Until this position recovers" work?
The snooze holds as long as the health factor stays below your warning threshold. Once it recovers above the threshold, the snooze clears itself, and if the position deteriorates again later, you will be alerted again.
Which alert thresholds can I configure?
In Settings, Thresholds and rates and Settings, Notifications: health factor warning and critical levels, drawdown warning and critical percentages, yield drop sensitivity and minimum capital, allocation drift threshold, and the cadence of yield target alerts. Each field has validated bounds.
Why am I not receiving email alerts?
Email is part of the Pro plan, is used for critical alerts and the summary of a scheduled report, and requires a verified email address. Check your plan, that your address is verified, that email is switched on in Settings, Notifications, and that the alert actually reached critical severity: warnings stay in-app. A notification whose email did not go out says why, under its text.
How can I check my notification setup?
Use Send a test in Notification settings. The test appears in the bell; it does not test email delivery.
What does Explain this alert do?
It asks the copilot to put the alert in context: why it fired, the options with their numbers, doing nothing included, and the points to follow. The explanation opens under the notification, with the time it was generated. It is information, not investment advice, and it counts toward the copilot's monthly allowance; when the allowance is reached, the notification says so.
